Vitor Bruno Sacked After Six Months

Following defeats to Nacional and Gil Vicente, Porto fired Vitor Bruno on Monday, dropping the two-time Champions League champions to third place in the Primeira Liga after eighteen games. In June 2024, Bruno signed a two-year contract to succeed Sergio Conceicao, who left after seven seasons and eleven titles, including three Portuguese league crowns.

After Sporting lost Ruben Amorim to Manchester United in November and Benfica fired German Roger Schmidt in August, Porto is the 12th club to have a manager change this season.
