Tottenham Hotspur are holding talks with Manchester City over a potential double transfer for Savinho and Omar Marmoush, with negotiations reportedly progressing between the Premier League clubs. There has been no deal so far but there is ongoing talks about Tottenham’s attacking options ahead of next season. Two forwards would be a big change in Spurs’s attack.
Tottenham have been interested in Savinho for some time. The Brazilian winger was a target for the club in 2025, but opted to stay at Manchester City instead. He signed for City this summer, coming from French club Troyes on a rumoured £30 million move.
Savinho’s opportunities have been limited, though. He made just seven appearances in the Premier League this season (2025-26), raising questions about his future at the Etihad Stadium. The winger may find a more regular part to play in Tottenham.
Despite being a prolific forward in Germany, Marmoush has joined City on a £59m deal in 2025. Although the Egypt international has racked up a substantial haul of cash, he failed to register consistently in Guardiola’s squad during the 2025-26 campaign.
The double deal would leave Tottenham with more creative attacking options, and give both players their chance at more regular first-team football.
The talks continue, and it is currently not confirmed that there is an agreement between the clubs. The situation is different, though, for the new season as more talks may decide if Tottenham can have both Manchester City forwards in north London.
