This summer, the British Premier League will play three matches at the Linc as part of its first-ever preseason competition in the United States.

On Saturday, July 22, at 4 p.m., Chelsea will play host to Brighton & Hove Albion. On Sunday, Fulham plays Brentford, followed by a 7 p.m. matchup between Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
Between July 22 and July 30, the six teams will compete in nine games across Philadelphia, Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Red Bull Arena in North Jersey, and FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.
Every game will be televised on every NBC network.
The only city to host three games is Philadelphia. Orlando and Harrison, New Jersey will each have one, while Atlanta and Landover will each have two.
The Linc has hosted international soccer matches in the past. In fact, two weeks before the Eagles played the Patriots in their inaugural game at their new stadium, Manchester United of the Premier League debuted the Stadium in 2003 with a match against Barcelona of La Liga.

Manchester United and the Union squared up at the Linc in 2010. The Mexican national team played the United States men’s national team in 2011.
This will be the first Summer Series event held by the Premier League in North America, the most-watched sports league in the world, since 2003. They have previously been held in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Hong Kong.
Starting on Tuesday, April 25, there will be a pre-sale for the three games at the Linc, and on Wednesday, April 26, there will be a general sale.

The Premier League will support community and youth soccer programs in each of the cities it will play in, according to a statement from the Eagles.
Richard Masters, chief executive of the Premier League, was quoted in the statement as saying, “Our clubs have wonderful fans in the U.S. who passionately follow their teams throughout the season.” We are thrilled to be building on this by bringing live Premier League action to five cities this summer. “We have witnessed this dedication first-hand from the tens of thousands who have attended our Mornings Live fan events,” the statement reads.
Philadelphia has also been chosen as one of the 16 American sites that will host the FIFA World Cup in the 2026 summer.
