Naomi Girma Joins Chelsea in Record-Breaking Deal

Naomi Girma, a defender for the San Diego Wave, was reportedly signed by Chelsea on Sunday, breaking the world transfer record. With a reported sum of £900,000 ($1.1 million) for Girma, Chelsea reportedly broke the previous global record set in February 2024 by paying £685,000 for Racheal Kundananji.
