Joao makes hasty exit instead of celebrating Bayern Munich

Joao Cancelo makes a hasty exit instead of celebrating with Bayern Munich. Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, may have been onto something.

One player, loanee Joao Cancelo, was not present for the celebration following Bayern Munich’s dominating win over Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker.

For the Bavarians, Cancelo put in a very strong, albeit brief, effort after replacing Alphonso Davies at left-back in the 79th minute. However, the Portuguese star stayed away from all of the celebrations following the game because she was “frustrated”.

Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidi, the sporting director at Bayern Munich, said it wasn’t a huge deal.

“These feelings are reactions to the game. That is not a concern. When a player doesn’t play, it’s common for them to feel disappointed, Salihamidi told Bild (as recorded by @iMiaSanMia). “Cancelo will get playing time because he is a top player.”

In any event, missing the team’s celebration was a horrible look. Several supporters who followed the James Rodriguez incident in Bavaria are familiar with this type of activity. The Real Madrid loanee’s attitude deteriorated as his playing time decreased.

Bayern Munich should sincerely hope that this was an isolated incident for Cancelo.
