Lionel Messi’s business skills has always been excellent. Through sponsorship and endorsement deals, he has earned hundreds of millions of dollars. Approximately $1 million was sold for a napkin from his first soccer deal. His most recent lucrative contract is a $60 million yearly agreement with Major League Soccer’s Inter Miami CF. In 2025, Messi made yet another wise real estate choice.
The Spanish digital-only Portfolio Stock Exchange listed his real estate interests under the name “Edificio Rostower Socimi.” In addition to retail and other commercial real estate, his REIT portfolio consists of seven hotels and residential buildings.
Following its public listing, Messi’s REIT shares were valued at $60 apiece, bringing the portfolio’s total value to $232 million.
Messi, who plays for Inter Miami CF, spent a large portion of his career in Spain. He became a world-class soccer player by playing for FC Barcelona’s senior team for 17 years after joining the junior squad at the age of 12.
