According to the former England forward, Liverpool will now finish third, ahead of Manchester United.
Manchester United, Newcastle, and Liverpool are vying for the final Champions League spots, while Manchester City and Arsenal have taken the top two spots.
Just two points separate Erik ten Hag’s team from Newcastle, who are currently in third place, and three separate Liverpool.

Manchester United’s last two losses would be disastrous if they made any more mistakes.

Johnson also thinks his previous team may have timed their run to perfection and managed to sneak into the top four.
Johnson responded, “I do now,” when asked if he could imagine Liverpool beating Manchester United or Newcastle United to a top-four spot.
The favorites to finish in the top four are Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle United.
“Out of Manchester United and Newcastle United, Liverpool will probably finish in the top four at Newcastle’s expense, in my opinion.
“I think Liverpool will place third this year,”
