Liverpool faces PSG in Champions League last-16. Arne Slot’s team finished first in the league, but they face PSG, who beat Brest 10-0 on aggregate in the play-offs. Arsenal and PSV are drawn. Other big matches are Real Madrid vs. Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund.
Arsenal will play Real or Atletico in the quarterfinals if they beat PSV. Instead of Borussia Dortmund, Aston Villa were drawn against Club Brugge, whom they lost to in November in the league. The victor will face Liverpool or PSG in the quarterfinals, possibly the tougher side of the draw.
