Brentford are now complete following Senegal international Diouf’s move from West Ham United as they strengthen the back of the defence in preparation for the new Premier League season.
Under contract with Brentford for five years, the 21-year-old club has an option to renew the deal with an additional year. Financial details have not been revealed, but British media reports have put the valuation of the transfer at up to £40 million ($54.35 million) including possible add-ons.
Diouf is coming off an impressive season with West Ham where he caught the attention of a number of clubs in England. He will now be under the development wing of Brentford manager Keith Andrews.

The defender adds his international experience in addition to his youth. Diouf also featured in Senegal’s 2026 FIFA World Cup team and has proven to be a valuable player for the team.
Andrews thinks the transfer is in line with the club’s recruitment policy, especially their desire to acquire youngsters that have huge potential to develop.
Andrews said in a press release for Brentford that he was “a player that fits our ideal age profile with plenty to still come”.
The Brentford manager also spoke of Diouf’s first season in England with praise and said he had the likes of him that he could bring into the squad which already boasts a formidable defence. Andrews believes he came up with a “really good season” at West Ham in his first year in English football and cited the full-back’s qualities as a major asset to the club.
