Milan is aiming to retain him past the summer. The 23-year-Real old’s Madrid contract is still valid for two more years (until 2025), but Milan’s famous technical director Paolo Maldini is aiming to acquire the player for a bit less than the 22 million euros originally agreed upon with Los Blancos.
The choice will be between accepting a little lower offer and remaining in Milan, where he is well-liked and settled, or going back to Los Blancos, where a starting spot is not assured but there is the chance to battle for it, particularly if Marco Asensio leaves. So Madrid is where Brahim hopes to be successful in the future.

His four goals and three assists in 20-21 or his three goals and three assists in 21-22 are both better than his five goals and three assists in 24 Serie A games.
